DIRECTIONS

From Washington/D.C. area

Take I66 west past Manassas to U.S. Highway 29S. Stay on 29S for approximately 130 miles. Three miles past Lovingston, VA, take a right on Rt. 56W. Proceed 18 miles. When in the mountains (river on one side, mountain on the other), take a right on Rt. 687, North Fork Rd. Come up the gravel road ½ mile, cross the bridge, take an immediate left, continue down the gravel lane to the cottages.

 

From Richmond, VA

Take I64 west to Charlottesville. Get off on Rt. 29S, come south about 40 miles. Three miles past the town of Lovingston, VA, take a right on Rt. 56W. Proceed 18 miles. When in the mountains (river on one side, mountain on the other), take a right on Rt. 687, North Fork Rd. Come up the gravel road ½ mile, cross the bridge, take an immediate left, continue down the gravel lane to the cottages.

 

From Lynchburg, VA

Take U.S. Highway 29N past Amherst. Take a left onto Rt. 151N. continue approximately 16 miles. Turn left onto Rt. 56W (it turns at the Tye River) Continue on 56W 12 miles until you are in the mountains (river on one side, mountain on the other), take a right on Rt. 687, North Fork Rd. Come up the gravel road ½ mile, cross the bridge, take an immediate left, continue down the gravel lane to the cottages.

 

From Roanoke, VA

Take Interstate 81N to exit 205, Steele's Tavern/Raphine" exit. Take route 606 east approximately one mile to U.S. Hwy. 11N. Take a left and immediate next right onto Rt. 56E. Follow over the mountain, crossing under the Blue Ridge Parkway, through Montebello, and down the other side of the mountain past Crabtree Falls. Continue two miles past Crabtree Falls and turn left on Rt. 687. Come up the gravel road ½ mile, cross bridge and take an immediate left, continue down the gravel lane to cottages.
