Breeding Program

Raid The Wind’s breeding program is based on uncompromising standards that demand dedication to ethical and professional practices that:

  1. Preserve and maintain the gains made to date in the breed’s development;

  2. Advance the already high-quality combination of soundness, size, temperament and beauty that define the Shiloh Shepherd;

  3. Limit our breeding program to a manageable size;

  4. Provide puppies with a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages full socialization with humans and other dogs and that is essential for a puppy to grow into a “dog-gone” lot of fun adult;

  5. Deliver full support to owners of Raid The Wind puppies for the life of the dog and encourage regular contact between owners and Raid The Wind;

  6. Stay current on industry advances, promote the importance of ethical breeding practices;

  7. Educate the public about the Shiloh Shepherd breed as well as topical matters such as genetic disease inheritance , the meaning and significance of breed standards, the benefits of breed registries and their rules and protocol; and

  8. Promote the health, care and humane treatment of all dogs.
