1.   Take Rt. 29 North, going past all Amherst exits.

2.   Turn left onto Rt. 151 North (at sign for Wintergreen, Afton, etc.). If you get to Lovingston, you have gone too far.

3.   Follow Rt. 151 to Rt. 56 West (Crabtree Falls Highway), which is a left turn. (The first Rt. 56 sign is East and goes to the right. Do not take Rt. 56 East.)

4.   Turn left onto Rt. 56 West. 5. Follow Rt. 56 West for 9.5 miles. You will pass the following landmarks:

A tiny town called Massies Mill; " A little store called the Mt. View Tea Room on right; " Through Tyro, marked on the left by the The Flippin-Seaman, Inc. Apple Shed, and on the right a small, closed store; " A wood-chopping operation on left; and " A bridge over the Tye River, immediately after which the road will curve to the left, start to narrow and become more winding. The Tye River now will be on your left.

5.  After some curves in the road, begin looking for a "Watch for Turning Vehicles" sign on the right. Prepare to slow down.

6.   At Rt. 687 marker, continue on Rt. 56, but slow down to turn left as soon as you cross the bridge.

7.   Immediately at the end of the Rt. 56 bridge, on the right is a large, black mailbox bearing the number 9621 and on the top a sign that reads "Raid The Wind." On the left side of the road (opposite the mailbox), is a short drive with an open, large black gate. Turn onto this drive. The drive runs between an old, abandoned one-and-a-half story, white house on the left and, on the right, Verizon metal, switching boxes (with American flag). Go through gate (it's never locked, just push really hard if it's closed), across private bridge and follow gravel lane to right and up hill.
